In Tune With Mental Health

I've always been a huge fan of music, I must admit mostly I listen to rap,old/new country, and some pop. I was content listening to this type of music every day until I went to Eastport's Holy Cross church this Thursday. A group of musicians perform at the church every Thursday typically between 10:30 am-11:00 am, I decided to go see their performance of a type of music that was foreign to me, I am glad to say it was a very pleasant and moving performance. Music actually helps with mental wellness, music is known to help treat all sorts of mental sicknesses, music is used to treat depression, PTSD, and schizophrenia, now these are only a few examples but you can see how important music is in every day life to help us stay healthy on the mental side of things! In reading this I hope that you try to listen to music you're not familiar with and hopefully you listen to music everyday to help your mental health, to stay in tune with mental health!
